I have been so thankful for this wedding over the last month and a half. I have been sitting on this blog post, in many ways not wanting to finally publish it because it signifies the end of the normal wedding season. With everything that has been going on the last several weeks all over the world, these images of warm embraces and love have brought me so much joy and peace. I hope and pray that I am able to make images like these again sometime in the not too distant future, but I know it will be a little while. This was the last wedding we photographed that seemed carefree and normal. And I am just so thankful for that. Because there was so much love on that day. It covered the event like a beautiful mist. Tara and Matt, their giddiness in love spreading to each soul in the room; all the parents – just so happy, so proud, so thankful; siblings and their tearful and funny toasts; friends dancing and laughing, and warm hugs all around – it was a day to remember forever.
