Whenever another photographer reaches out to have me document their family, I am extremely honored. Claire is a wonderful photographer based out of Dayton and had me come to her home to document the sweet newborn bubble that exists in those first weeks after bringing home a baby. It was early Spring, but there was a warmth in the air. We went outside, laid on a picnic blanket and enjoyed the new blooms, yellow and green just beginning to emerge. Claire had also made a beautiful yellow cake to decorate. Most of my film is self developed, a labor of love and a bit of a rebellion to the fast-paced, ai culture of the day - I love the idea of the crystals filled with memories developed by my hands and lovingly presented to you.
